Distribution of Dignity Kits to Adolescent Girls and Vulnerable Women in Adamawa State

Sirri Care Foundation Partners with GBVS to Distribute Dignity Kits to Adolescent Girls and Vulnerable Women in Adamawa State
In a collaborative effort with its LED partners, GBVS, Sirri Care Foundation successfully carried out a dignity kit distribution program aimed at empowering adolescent girls and vulnerable women in Gombi and Maiha Local Government Areas of Adamawa State. The initiative provided essential items to help maintain dignity, promote good menstrual hygiene management, and foster greater confidence and self-esteem both in school and within the community at large.
Objectives of the Dignity Kit Distribution:
Enhance Menstrual Hygiene and Health: Increase access to essential menstrual hygiene products for adolescent girls and vulnerable women, enabling them to manage their menstruation with dignity and better health.
Restore Dignity and Self-Esteem: Provide dignity kits that empower girls and women, helping them regain their confidence, sense of worth, and the ability to participate fully in their communities and education.
Promote Health and Well-being: Support the overall health and well-being of adolescent girls and vulnerable women by addressing their specific needs related to menstrual hygiene management.
Reduce Stigma and Shame: Combat the stigma and shame often associated with menstruation in local communities, fostering a more supportive and understanding environment.
